How We Work

We don’t simply write checks and collect year end reports. Do Something Cool typically funds programs with more than one grant check over multiple years, to help facilitate growth and increase both efficiency and efficacy. Our grantees range from nonprofit organizations that operate within one of our focus areas, to public schools and after-school scholarship programs, and departments of recreation.

Strategic Support

We work to connect all of our programs to a network of friends, leaders, and organizations in the worlds of creative arts, sport, and entrepreneurship, uniquely allowing us to provide valuable insights, thought leadership, and strategic support through ongoing program monitoring, analysis, and growth.

Partnerships

We are working to make an impact today while establishing a long-term national network of partners. We develop deep partnerships and initiate project collaborations in the worlds of creative arts, sport, and entrepreneurship to advance the culture on issues of disadvantaged youth.
