With the support of Do Something Cool Foundation,we will be sending 32 of our top most consistent youth students to travel 6 hours round trip to compete at the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro on July 13th 2024.

Guardian Peru is more than a free jiu jitsu program in Mancora; it’s a beacon of hope for underprivileged youth. It offers physical training, self-esteem, emotional resilience, mentorship, and belonging. Since its launch two years ago, it has empowered youth to overcome bullying, build friendships, and broaden their horizons.

Salvatore Sanguinetti, a local of Mancora, is the heart of Guardian Peru. Despite a difficult childhood marked by abandonment, a mentor’s guidance at 15 changed his path. In the U.S., he found solace in jiu jitsu through his cousin, UFC fighter Kenny Florian.

This martial art helped him cope with past traumas. Returning to Peru, Sanguinetti aimed to help struggling youth. Today, 103 young lives are being transformed under his guidance, moving from adversity to hope and success.
